FUSE Social Enterprise Coffee Morning

FUSE Norwich’s recent Social Enterprise Coffee Morning proved to be a tremendous success! It was brilliant to see such a vibrant mix of long standing members and some new faces too. Held in a cosy, welcoming venue, the event provided an ideal setting for meaningful networking and idea-sharing among professionals dedicated to making a positive impact in Norwich.

Guests had the opportunity to connect, exchange insights, and forge new collaborations, in a laid back setting while enjoying coffee and pastries!

With so many fantastic new ideas brewing and such support to and from our network of social enterprises we are buzzing to see what the future holds for Norwich. Here’s to more mornings of coffee and collaboration!

Good Volunteer Management Workshop

In April, we held a workshop exploring Good Volunteer Management, with guest speakers James Kearns from BUILD and Evie Coleman of Norwich Samaritans. We discussed volunteer communications and team-building; recruitment and adapting to individual volunteers’ needs; plus the biggest challenges when supporting and retaining volunteers. Our Volunteering Coordinator and Get InVOLved Norfolk expert Laura Holland shared good practice and tips for thanking and engaging volunteers. You can catch up with the session here.

Feedback from participants:

“The session was very informative with lots of practical ideas to take away.”

“Got some really great tips that I can utilise in my work.”

“We are just building up our volunteer base and the session gave me a lot of food for thought.”
