Exciting new numeracy programme

Multiply, is an exciting new government-funded numeracy programme that aims to help adults improve their skills and boost their number confidence through a range of innovative learning opportunities that aim to break down the barriers that many adults experience when it comes to numbers. Over a 3-year period, the government has allocated £4.7 million to Norfolk. We have a unique opportunity to use this funding to develop something new and innovative that will make a real difference to Norfolk residents.

Norfolk County Council is inviting VCSE organisations to a stakeholder meeting on Teams on 25th May from 14:00-16:00 to discuss the new numeracy programme. Your voice is important, please come along and help to influence how the programme is delivered in Norfolk. Booking details can be found here.

During this event we will:

  • Provide an overview of Multiply and how we plan to approach the delivery of this programme in Norfolk
  • Share with you our needs analysis for Norfolk
  • Seek your ideas on a menu of interventions that you believe will increase numeracy levels in Norfolk
  • Discuss with you how we can ensure that Multiply activity does not displace existing numeracy programmes in Norfolk
  • Give you an opportunity to influence the implementation of Multiply, give us feedback and ask questions.

You can download a copy of the Multiply prospectus and technical guidance, for your information here.
