Celebrating Health and Care Volunteering

Come along and celebrate health and care volunteering in your local area!

Voluntary Norfolk are inviting local residents living across Norfolk and Waveney to special volunteering “Wellfest” events to celebrate the difference volunteering activity makes across health and social care, this October.

people talking about volunteering

Local volunteering teams from both the voluntary sector and health and social care organisations are looking forward to sharing their stories and successes with members of the public.

Volunteering can take many forms. It surprises many people about the range of activities local people undertake to help out. These events will feature interactive stands and displays with opportunities to speak to current volunteers about what they do in their own words, meet local PAT dogs or even take up the opportunity of having a therapeutic hand massage.
