Norfolk Small Charities Showcase 2026

July 18 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

Now in its 4th year, the Norfolk Small Charities Showcase celebrates and promotes community organisations (with an annual income of under £250,000) and provides an opportunity to raise awareness of your services, attract new volunteers or investment in one of the county’s most iconic venues with high public footfall.

Hosted, and funded, by The Kearns Foundation the event has two parts.

Part 1 – A public exhibition, on the ground floor Atrium of the iconic Forum building in Norwich city centre where Norfolk serving small charities can raise awareness of the services they offer, attract new volunteers or investment whilst also networking with other small local organisations to share ideas and learn from each other.

Stalls in the exhibition are free of charge to small Norfolk serving community organisations (subject to a refundable £20 deposit) Stalls are limited to 30 organisations and must be pre-booked. To request a space, purchase a £20 stallholder ticket below. Your fee will be refunded if you attend and your stall is operational between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Part 2 – a series of short, free to attend workshops providing information and advice to small community groups.

Attendance at the skills workshops are open to anyone working or volunteering in any Norfolk serving community organisation, irrespective of their annual income, and are also free to attend, but require pre-booking as they have a limited capacity.

This workshop will explore the opportunities for small to medium sized charities working with businesses in Norfolk. It will be based on finding mutual benefits for all parties through the use of corporate volunteering, sponsorship, shared facilities and fundraising. Examples of partnerships with Aviva, Norfolk Skills Exchange and Norfolk Chambers of Commerce will be shared.

Workshop 2 – Safeguarding – beyond raising the concern (11.45am – 12.45pm in The View). Members of the Norfolk Safeguarding Adults Team will explore the processess, and support available, to organisations when handling the difficult challenge of raising a safeguarding concern.
