End of Year/New Year’s Message from Empowering Communities

A New Year’s Message from Lucy Hogg (Director of Voluntary Sector Infrastructure at Voluntary Norfolk) on behalf of the Empowering Communities Partnership.

As we bid farewell to the year, this is to say thank you for everything you do for the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector across Norfolk. Our community is made up of so many passionate, inspiring and dedicated people, that deliver such a wealth of good for local communities.

At the end of a challenging twelve months, it is right to recognise some of this ‘good stuff’ – the VCSE staff and volunteers who continue to go the extra mile for their beneficiaries, participants and the local communities we serve.

I’d also like to say thank you to all those individuals and organisations that work hard at partnership working. Finding opportunities to partner and collaborate has never been more important, and partnership working is hard, but from it rich rewards can flow, and we at Empowering Communities are committed to supporting and enabling the sector to work in this way.

As we approach the new year, we know that we have a challenging year ahead, but I hope we can find strength in unity, to build our collective voice and impact for the benefit of local communities, and the voluntary, community, and social enterprise sector in Norfolk.

Thank you again for everything you do to make Norfolk a vibrant and caring community. Wishing you and your colleagues a wonderful New Year…

We look forward to seeing you in the New Year at one of our events
