SUMMARY:Trustees\, Board Members & NEDs: Online Event
DESCRIPTION:This latest Trustees\, Board Members & NEDs event gives a chance to hear from speakers\, network and connect with others and ask questions. \n\n\n\n\nFollowing on from successful online and in person meet up events last year we are back with on online event for Trustees\, Board Members and Non-Executive Directors. \nTrustees of charities and directors of social enterprises play a crucial role in steering and supporting thousands of not-for-profit organisations across Norfolk. \nIt can be a tricky role; shouldering legal and financial responsibilities\, overseeing the work of staff and volunteers\, keeping the organisation true to its mission to deliver specific public benefit\, and very often pitching in to help with that delivery. \nOn Thursday 21st May 2026 Empowering CommunitiespartnersVoluntary Norfolk\, FUSENetwork and Community Action Norfolk (CAN)will host an online networking event for Trustees\, Board members and NEDs to engage in conversations about some of the main challenges they face and to seek advice from others in similar situations. Coming together to share challenges and learn from one another is an effective way to problem solve and pick up useful tips. \nThe event will include short talks/presentations from speakers in the Trustees/Board member/ NED world sharing their own experiences. We will then have time for some discussions\, finishing with a summary and Q & A session. There will be a chance to connect with fellow attendees. \nWhen booking you will be asked to put down your top 3 issues currently as a Trustee/Board Member/NED which will also help to shape discussions. \nIf you would like to join\, register for a free place! \n\nLink for Tickets: \n\nTrustees\, Board Members & NEDs: Online Event Tickets\, Thursday\, May 21  •  6:30 PM – 8 PM GMT+1 | Eventbrite
