How accessible is your volunteering journey?

Join for this free 30-minute webinar as we introduce our new Supporting Volunteers Toolkit – a practical resource designed to help organisations create more accessible, welcoming and inclusive volunteering opportunities.

Developed through surveys, focus groups and co-production with volunteers, the toolkit explores every stage of the volunteer journey, from advertising roles and recruitment through to onboarding, ongoing support and leaving volunteering. It provides practical checklists, self-assessment tools and simple actions that organisations can use to review and improve their volunteering practices.

Although the toolkit was informed by the experiences of neurodivergent people, autistic people, care-experienced individuals and those with lived experience of mental health challenges, the principles and recommendations benefit all volunteers. Rather than creating separate processes for different groups, the toolkit promotes inclusive practices that make volunteering more accessible, supportive and welcoming for everyone.
